Jane Ashley's Newest Recipes for Better Meals, published in 1952. Promotional cookbook by the  Corn Products Refining Company and features their products - Karo, Mazola, Argo and Kre-mel. Interestingly there were three kinds of Karo Syrup: Light (red label), Dark (blue label) and Maple-y (Green label).

Big Boy Barbecue Book - Shows How to Easy it is to Cook on Spit or Grill, published in 1957. The previous owner must have LOVED the marinade recipes since it shows the most wear (and stains) of any page in the book.

Casserole Magic - 300 Recipes for the Best in One-Dish Meals, published in 1953.There are 175 pages of casseroles. The page with a recipe for Beef Tongue Casserole is the only dog eared page in the book.

Praise for the Cook, published in 1959. Recipes feature Crisco.

Kerr Home Canning Book - and How to Freeze Foods, published in 1955.
