Modern Day Interlude - Slow Cooker/Crock-pot Cookbooks

I own two crock pots - a smaller 4 quart and a very large programmable model. Mostly used in the colder months for soups, stews, roasts, etc. This year I hope to make bread pudding in the smaller pot - I found a recipe that doesn't require cream but instead I will use almond milk.

Mable Hoffman's Crockery Cookery- Revised and Updated, published in 1995. The book was a winner of the R.T French Tastemaker Award. The previous edition sold FIVE million copies!

The Complete Idiot's Guide to Slow Cooker Cooking, published in 2003. I picked this up at a yard sale for $1.00.

Not Your Mother's Slow Cooker Cookbook, published in 2005. Lots of upscale recipes for the crock pot.
