Vintage Cooking Booklets & Pamphlets 1920's

In addition to collecting vintage cookbooks, I also seek out cooking pamphlets or cook booklets. I recently bought a HUGE lot of 40+ books on-line (super cheap!). Most were dated from the 1920's to 1940's.

55 Ways to Save Eggs, published in 1920 by the Royal Baking Company, a manufacturer of baking powder. The booklet has old and new ways for making various dishes using fewer to no eggs. Apparently eggs were expensive in 1920 and it was cheaper to substitute baking powder to save on the price of eggs.

Jell-O America's Most Famous Dessert - At Home Everywhere, published in 1922. More than congealed salads, there are recipes for whips, creams and puddings.

Unknown title - the book was given to new brides. This book belonged to Mr. & Mrs. Nelson who married on June 24, 1925. Recipes and hints for the new bride, plus lots of ads for everything a newlywed couple needed to start their household.

Directory and Cook Book, published in 1927 by the Grace M.E. Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. Cool vintage ads, meal menus and recipes.

Cake Baking made Easy with Airy Fairy - Delicious Cakes for Every Occasion from 6 Foundation Recipes, published in 1927. Airy Fairy was a brand of cake flour made by the Commander Larabee Cereal Company.

Photo from the Cake Baking Made Easy booklet - love the vintage china!

Ad from the untitled book for a photography studio, plus found between the pages a recipe for Devil's Food Cake - possibly given to the owner from Bernice.

I also found a letter from 1958 in the same booklet:
