Modern Day Interlude - California Dreaming

A few cookbooks with California origins ~

Stir-Frying to the Edge of Heaven - The Ultimate Guide to Mastery, with Authentic Recipes and Stories, published in 2010. The book was a James Beard award winner. Lots of gorgeous photos of Chinese food, the author is a California native who now resides in New York.

The I Heart (Love) Trader Joe's Cookbook, published in 2009. More than 150 recipes using only foods from the World's Greatest Grocery Store. I LOVE TJ's and did a happy dance when a store FINALLY opened in our area. I used to drive 40+ miles one way to shop at the closest TJ's.

The Los Angeles Times California Cookbook, published in 1983. More than 650 fresh, delicious and healthful recipes and menus.
