Vintage Betty Crocker's Picture Cookbook - Special Edition

Probably the most rare cookbook in my collection. Bought as part of a box lot at an auction (over 30+ books plus the shelf they were on for $25.00). The previous owner had over a dozen vintage Betty Crocker cookbooks and this edition was tucked between a few books. It is "signed" by Betty Crocker - see bottom photo.

My last entry - for now! Will post again when I find more book(s). Thanks for reading!

Vintage Betty Crocker's Picture Cookbooks Part II

Betty Crocker's Picture Cook Book - Revised and Enlarged, unable to determine publication date. Cover is different (ignoring the burn mark!) from other books, but probably the 1956 edition.

Betty Cocker's New Picture Cook Book, published in 1961. Picked up at a yard sale while vacationing in Colorado. It's stuffed with newspaper clippings of recipes and other assorted papers.

Modern Day Interlude - My Personal Recipe Files

Recipes I have collected from the past 20+ years are in these binders. Many are on index cards, some hand written on scrap paper or cut out of magazines. In the early days of "the computer" I bought The Master Cook program to copy all my recipes, after a few years and with possibility of an impending hard drive crash I sent ALL of the recipes to my e-mail account and then printed out every single recipe. These are now stored in my binders.

Recipes are categorized in each binder, red is for entrees, brown for desserts and white for everything else.
