Cookbooks from the 1960's Part II

McCall's Cook Book - The Absolutely Complete Step-by Step Cooking and Serving Guide, published in 1963. This book was given to Vicki & Larry on December 14, 1975 from Blanche and Ty - who noted this wasn't their Xmas present!

To the Bride, published in 1963. Lots hints and tips for the bride, plus recipes.

The New Ford Treasury of Favorite Recipes from Famous Restaurants, Plus a Traveler's Guide to 800 Outstanding Eating Places, published in 1963.

The Glamour Magazine Party Book - How to Give a Successful Party the Way We Live Today, Whatever the Occasion, published in 1965.Written with the busy young homemaker and career girl in mind!






The Art of Cuisine - Toulouse-Lautrec & Maurice Joyant, published in 1966. This culinary memoir features original recipes and drawings by Toulouse-Lautrec and was published by his art  dealer after Lautrec's death (the original French edition).

Happy Living! A Guidebook for Brides, published in 1966. Similar to the book To the Bride, it was published by American Bride Publication. The previous owner, Martha Doster was given the book by Rich's (now defunct Atlanta Department store) Bridal Registry.

The Illustrated Good Housekeeping Encyclopedic Cookbook - Volume 2, published in 1965. Still on the hunt for books 1 & 3.

The New Antoinette Pope School Cookbook, published in 1967. It's a signed copy, I have seen auctions for the same book and most are signed.

The Night Before Cookbook, published in 1967. With 200 recipes for night before preparation and night of the feast relaxation.
