Recipes from Pawley's Island, published in 1975. This the 14th edition with the 1st edition being printed in 1955. The recipes were collected by the Churchwomen of All Saints Waccamaw Episcopal Church in Pawley's Island, South Carolina. Lots of seafood recipes plus the usual Southern church picnic fare. The previous owner placed check mark beside several recipes and dog eared the page for the Broccoli salad recipe - a Southern staple at summer parties, picnics and even funerals.
Cabbage Patch - Famous Kentucky Recipes, published in 1956. Recipes compiled by the Cabbage Patch Circle in Louisville,Kentucky. The Circle donated the proceeds from the sale of the book to the Cabbage Patch Settlement, a social service organization. Lots of great Southern favorites accompanied by sketches drawn by two members of the Circle.
