Estate Sale - Vintage Cooking Booklets: The Chocolate Cookbook & The French Cookbook

Found several vintage cook booklets last Saturday at an estate sale. There were also a few hardcover books, but none that caught my eye. Both of the following are from the the Culinary Arts Institute series.

The French Cookbook, published in 1954. Over 141 world-renowned French recipes! There are appetizers to start followed by soups, eggs, main dishes, lots of sauce recipes and ending with desserts/candy. Each chapter name is also noted in French as well as the recipes. Most of the recipes really don't appear to be "French" except for the desserts.

The Chocolate Cookbook, published in 1954. There are 218 full-flavored chocolate recipes including cakes, cookies, pies, desserts candies and beverages.  The first couple of pages include useful tips when baking with chocolate.
