Thrifty Finds (June - Week 1) Hungry Gardener and Chef's Secrets

Chef's Secrets from Great Restaurants in Georgia, published in 1983. Having lived in Atlanta for a few years in the mid-eighties, I recognize quite a few of the restaurants in the book. There are no restaurants from my current town in the book, but surprisingly a LOT of restaurants in hotels are featured.

The Hungry Gardener: A Collection of Recipes from Quailcrest Farm, published in 1996. Located in Wooster, Ohio, the farm started out as a nursery in 1975 and today still sells flowers, trees and shrubs plus there is a barn gift shop, gardens and several locations for outdoor events and weddings. Lots of yummy farm style cooking recipes!
