Junior League - Lousiana Ya'll!

River Road Recipes - The Textbook of Louisiana Cuisine, published in 1997 (the original was published in 1959). This copy is the 71st (!!) printing which is fitting since this cookbook is  the all-time #1 best selling community cookbook series in the nation with over 1.9 MILLION books printed. Recipes complied by the Junior League of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I already own a much older version of the book, and this edition will be my "working" copy.

Feliciana Favorites, published in 1981. Not a Junior League book per se, but close since the recipes were complied the East Feliciana Pilgrimage and Garden Club of Clinton, Louisiana. Chock full of yummy Southern and Creole recipes. The money raised from the sale of the books was used to restore the Marston House. There is a really cool nameplate on the inside cover related to cooking that I am now hunting down to use on my own books!
